Sick with the Flu?
E.'s had a horrible weekend ... headache, fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches, stomachache, and just all-over-cruddiness. His bed and the bathroom are the only two places he's seen since Friday night. He's been miserable.
Thanks for following Tara. E. is feeling much better. Unfortunately, I think the dreaded flu is trying to infiltrate my immune system. I'm putting up a fight ... you can count on it.
We originally started this blog in Feb of 2009 when E. was diagnosed with Stage IV Esophageal Cancer so friends and family could follow along on the journey. Along the way, Peanut (E3) was born and E.'s dad (E1) had his own cancer struggles. E. passed away in Dec of 2012 after a valiant and courageous battle.
Because the purpose of this blog was always about E., I've left much of the other family out of it. Now though, I'm using it to share my mom's recent health struggles. I may begin to share more about the rest of our wonderful children as well (his girls - 19 and 17; my boys - 17, 16, 14, 13, 12, 12, and 12, and our Peanut - 3). And I may share more about me too. We shall see.
